Tensions headaches are a cramping of the neck and shoulders, and feel like a tight “ring” around the cranial cavity. These headaches have symptoms of “icyhot” sensations around the head, neck, and shoulders. Tension headaches are divided into two main classes episodic and chronic. Episodic headaches can last to a minimum of 30 minutes or a week, more frequent tension headaches can arise 15 days a month. Chronic headaches can appear more continuous and frequent can proceed more than 15 days a month.
Causes of tension headaches are associated with high sensitivity to pain or stress. There is only one trigger to the cause tension headaches and it is stress. Only 3% of the US population suffer from this unpleasant chronic headache. Many people can 't dissociated the difference between migraines and tension headaches. Migraines tend to interfere with the nervous system affected the site, causing regurgitation and nausea. Tension headaches usually don 't associate with that type of interference.
