“Producing medicines in animal milk holds so much promise that even nonprofit agencies like the American Red Cross (ARC) are interested” (Sinha). A study has been done that healing proteins could be extracted from animal’s milk. This would give cows and other milk producing animals another purpose. Sinha also has said that scientist are trying to insert human proteins into chickens and hopefully their eggs will have the same proteins. Funding could help the agricultural field by modifying plants to store more water, and that will take many states out of the drought they are in. Also it could make plants naturally insect resistant and that will save farmers on purchasing insecticides. Animals would be healthier and benefit the healthcare field if got the correct funding. Genetic modifications in medicine could make it more available and everyone could get vaccines, even people that are scared of needles.
