One of the styles discussed is the tri-dimensional leadership effectiveness model, which is a model that Hersey and Blanchard created and covers situational leadership. That model is looked at for effectiveness. It also breaks down Hersey and Blanchard’s leadership styles into four parts. The authors conclude the article by stating the Hersey and Blanchard’s model should be used to increase leadership effectiveness. Although the article is about academic leadership, it is applicable to leadership in general and has a great deal of information on situational leadership.
This article discusses transformational leadership from the perspective of senior leadership. Included in the research is the topic of the situational leadership model. The theory is expanded in the article to discuss points such as situational judgment and tacit knowledge. However, following the topic of situational leadership throughout the article is not easy.
