The declaration of Independence states ‘but when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such a government, and to provide a new guards for their future security” (Declaration of Independence). In the document The declaration of the rights of man and citizens it does not talk about what will happen if the government did the people wrong. It does talk about how the government can do the people wrong by not following the laws to peoples rights. It doesn’t talk about if the people are allowed to throw the government over like they are allowed to do in the Declaration of Independence. The Declaration of the rights of man and citizen tells in detail what the rights of man have. Like one of there laws state “ No man my be indicted, arrested, or detained except in cases determined by law according to the forms which it has prescribed”(The Declaration of the rights of man). This is saying that no man can be arrested unless he has done something to break the law. It will be wrong to arrested someone for no reason. Its also an law that protects them from getting wrongly accused of doing something they didn’t do “ Every man being presumed innocent until judged guilty, if it is deemed indispensable to arrest him, all rigor unnecessary to securing his person should be severely repressed by the law”(The Declaration of the rights to man). This allows man not to get wrongly accused of something they did not do. It also protects them from not going to jail without a trail to prove what they are being accused of is something that they did not do. The Declaration of Independnce does not talk about what would happen if someone was accused of doing something they didn’t
