These online advertisements are just like viruses, these ads are specially designed to collect our browsing history of items and reused them to create a list of what I call “garbage” to mislead and attracted more buyers, so this is how these ads work, anything we browse through the internet and planning to buy a product on amazon or eBay or any other company website, they will collect our information and our habit to simulate a list of items that will lead us into buying the products that they are showcasing to us, for example, when we looked at an HDMI cable on amazon, these particular ads will adjust base on how many times we have been looked at this products and what are the price range we have looked at. After that, when these ads started generates it will be the spotlight on the page that we are visiting and also is more like a person is reading through our mind. The list of items we browsed through, peoples including myself actually get mislead into this kind of advertisement, and our brain started to generated base on the information we received from the internet, speaking to ourselves that we might need this particular items when actually we don’t, importantly this is why peoples buy more items through online shopping than traditional in-store
