Christianity’s contribution to the fall of Rome
The fall of the Roman Empire is said to be an example of a domino effect; this comes from the idea of placing dominoes on their sides, one next to each other and then intentionally knocking the first in the line over to its neighbouring domino. This creates a chain reaction and eventually all the dominoes collapse. It was just like that for the Roman Empire, it was the Huns invading from the east that caused the domino effect, they invaded (pushed into) the goths, who then invaded (pushed into) the Roman Empire.
