A: Hajj is the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca. And Mecca being The most holiest city for muslims. Performing Hajj is one of the five pillars of islam, which includes Shahadah( Islamic creed belief that there's only one God), Salat( performing prayers) , Zakat(is form of Helping to the poor), and Sawm(fasting).
Why is it important in Islam ?
A: its designed to promote a gathering to form a bondage of brotherhood and sisterhood in Islam. And it indicates that everybody is equal in the eyes of Allah(Lord).

What kind of clothes are worn by pilgrims during the Hajj? Why are these clothes important?
A: When performing the Hajj a Muslim wears the Ihram clothes.(Ihram is a state of sacredness for a Muslim enters I order to perform the Hajj) These clothes consist of two simple white sheets. For men first sheet is hang on the shoulder and the other one on the waist or hips, also held by a belt. For the ladies to wear something that cover Body and hair.
