• It has something to do with eschatological theology and the idea of Christ coming to us again and again

Why would Jesus choose the Noah analogy and how did it fit in with action? He pointed to the types of action verbs being used and explained that they were all actions related to daily human activities. Furthermore, the two following parables also focused on actions related to daily human activities which answered another question as to what the significance of the field and the meal grinding was. In this particular passage, Jesus referenced it five times. I knew this had to be significant considering this is only nine verses out of his longer speech. Therefore, I explored how many times he states it in his speech in general. In doing this I noticed that it only occurs twice before this passage and never after. I then wondered if this part of his speech occurs in other gospels and if so what contexts. It appears in Luke but with no real significant differences that would bring cause for further exploration.
