In addition to the course requirements and practicum experiences infused in selected required courses, students also complete a practicum in a general education classroom during the first year (1/2 day per week, minimum of 100 hours), 6 credits of school-based practicum with a school psychologist (1 day per week, minimum of 300 hours; CEP 893K) during the second year, and 6 credits of school-based practicum/internship with a school psychologist (2 days per week, minimum of 600 hours; CEP 894K) during the third year. Students will also be given the option of completing additional semesters of advanced practicum prior to internship, and many 4th year practicum sites require a year-long commitment (1 day per week).
