The damage that bullying causes among kids is not just psychological but also physical and has been the trigger for higher rates of teenage suicide, which is just one of the extreme consequences of being bullied. In the United States alone the statistics are alarming, they show the reality and danger that bullying has become. While the situation with the girl was in a school context, we were not children or teenagers, especially me, I am a grown up and assume the girl was old enough to have some sense of maturity.
