Recently the term "healthy" has come under debate as a strict definition is hard to pinpoint. This is due to the fact that it is more subjective and different for individual cases. Therefore, I have investigated the nutrients in these cereals that would be most beneficial and healthiest for me personally which were previously discussed. For this research, I have used the FDA 's definitions of nutrient content claims and the Daily Values for one serving size(U.S. Food and Drug Administration 2013 10.Appendix B). To start off, Grape-Nuts is saturated fat free, within the healthy range of sodium, and it does not have any added sugar. It also is an excellent source of iron, folic acid, and fiber.
