Why are we eating? What are we eating? What is the purpose of eating, enjoyment, appetite, or need of energy? Human body is self-sufficient organism that generate its own energy like a reactor using the food and beverages as a source of intake. Human body needs energy to heal, act, react and survive. But humans doesn’t intake food and beverages just for energy, but for satisfaction both stomach and eyes. Human being needs a specific amount of energy depends on the sex, age and also Body Mass Index (BMI) to function properly. The body needs energy also for daily movements such as walking, thinking, working, resting as well as sleeping, even for converting intakes to usable energy. The presentation of food nourishes first eyes and then the nose by how it smells, then the tongue by its taste and finally the stomach by its content of calories to convert into usable energy. Some of the ingredients dissolve in the stomach faster than other, and that changes the mood of the person as well. Sometimes the taste of the food is defers depending on the heath of the body. If the person got some kind of illness like cold or flu, the nose doesn’t operate properly, and the taste cannot be determined properly. There is millions of people in the world and all of them is depended to different ethnic groups. They lives different habitat. The food preferences are different for each group. It is because of their religion, their culture, the area they live in makes the variety of food choices and eating habits. Some people depends on their education be aware about food and nutrition but some of them are very deliberative about nutrition. Some people are very carefully handle the food and using the correct temperatures for cooking and storing on the other hand some people don’t even know anything about what could be happen if you store everything together or what would cause if the meat doesn’t reach to the specific temperature while cooking? Nowadays food allergies increasing very fast. Some people has nuts allergies, some of them shellfish, some other has diary or gluten allergies. In this case food handling and storing becomes more important. The restaurant owners and the employee who works in the restaurant for cooking stations know how to cook, how to store or how to serve for the people who has allergies? But the people, who doesn’t cook at home, who doesn’t care about kitchen stuff, who works mostly in the office and eat only either junk food or restaurant food are be aware about all kind of safe information about food handling.
