17 May 2016 Why do kids have sharp memory power? Isn’t it amazing how kids can recall your name even after a long time they’ve seen you. We might not notice it but children have really sharp memory at recognizing face, identifying pictures of animals, non-living things etc. It is also said that it’s much easier for a magician to fool an adult than a child and children have a much easier time figuring out how the magic tricks work than adults (Vulcan). The phase in which the kids grow up is also known as learning phase which is also one of the reason behind the child’s having a sharp mind which makes him able to learn and catch up things …show more content…
He backed up his theory with by relating it with developmental psychology and observation. What do we see that children do that 's really good and that 's better than adults? And I think one answer, for instance, is language. That is one of the reasons why children are better at learning language than adults, because that 's the main task of childhood. “By the time you 're an adult, you had better know a language and there 's not much evolutionary pressure to wire up your brain to learn more, you 're done, you should know it by then. Children are, I think, better learners regarding motor skills, possibly regarding certain aspects of social interaction. We 'd be really screwed if we had to start our life over again as children with our brains right now; because I think we lose the plasticity and flexibility” …show more content…
“Everyone knows that Picasso achieved artistic fame and success as an adult, but little Pablo was quite the prodigy, too. In fact, it’s said that Picasso had an interest in drawing even before he could speak. Perhaps that’s why, once he finally could talk, he immediately started demanding that his father (an artist himself) give him his paintbrushes” (Chillot 3). Another example would be Albert Einstein; he showed the signs of having an amazing talent and the skills for mathematics at his earliest age. He built models and mechanical devices and even invented the extraordinary formula for creating powerful atomic particles E= mc2. As we can see now that Pablo Picasso has created more than 22,000 works of art and Albert Einstein has given life to numerous mathematical definitions and science theories. These achievements were only possible due to their immense determination and optimistic characteristics. So only by having a sharper memory power at early phase will not guarantee us the extraordinary personality in future. What matters is the continuation of determination towards our goal for
