I understand more why some people are in certain cultural groups than others. In order to be in a group we have to have a sense of belonging such as similar beliefs, race, or gender. Cultural group is something that is a tradition, and has expanded over time. I want to embrace my cultural identity more, because it defines who I am, my heritage, and what makes me unique from others. When a unique style starts to progress it becomes popular, and can be considered as popular culture. My hometown newspaper allows citizens to call a number to voice their opinions about the community, and they place it a certain section of the newspaper for the public to see.
Leisure was the specific behavior of the item-level that was singled out as lost-in- translation and problematic. It was item seventeen and the negative and positive scores was all over the board. Leisure made things very confusing and could’ve been justified by deleting the question. Researchers have to make sure that the items they choose is asking the same question used in different cultures.
People who work and go to school may have a busy schedule. Some people have kids who are always in need of attention, and never get time alone. We all need leisure time to ourselves. Having the opportunity for small breaks in between class gives me leisure time to eat or socialize with others.
