These people therefore are in charge of implementing the policy, and this is shown through the council website. Application forms are required, and the council then decides if they will agree to the road closure or traffic diversion. The Hamilton City Council is also responsible for the stage of evaluation. An area on the website allows people to provide feedback, which can then be used to evaluate whether another closure or diversion in the future will be allowed. I have never come across anybody who has a negative perspective about it. Even low income families recycle, because as it is part of the rates package, it isn’t a noticeable part of wages disappearing. Hamilton City Council would have a positive perspective, as recycling increases the attractiveness of a city and also creates a healthier, more environmentally friendly place to live. On a wider scale, anyone who cares about the environment would be happy about the policy. There isn’t any area to gather information about how different people feel about it, but I cannot think of anyone who would object to it.
