Salvatore Ferragamo is a fine example of the importance of quality in Italy. While visiting the Ferragamo exhibit, it was amazing to see the beautiful stitch work and prototypes for the shoes. For example, the beautiful leather and detail he took to make a shoe fit perfectly for someone to wear every day. After reading the reasons why he spent his time in America, it stood out to me the reasons why he wanted to return to Florence. One of the exhibits said that the reasons why he came back to Florence was due to the artisans and their value and excellence they put into their products: “he decided to return to Italy, well aware that only here he would find the most skilled shoemakers.
