Communication is literacy because when people speak to me, I read their thoughts through audio, and when I reply back, I write my thoughts verbally. Playing for a team requires the ability to learn how to have teamwork. Teamwork requires everyone to be cohesive with one another to achieve the same goal of typically either winning or enjoying the game. It also requires the ability to compromise. Teammates must have trust and support for one another as well as the capability to take responsibility for both yourself and the team’s actions. Being a step behind can cause the opposition to counter attack resulting in the last minute loss. As everyone loves to win, winning should not be the only thing on your mind but having great communication and a mutual respect for one another on the field are the keys to success.
