There must be no hesitation in carrying out orders. We, as enlisted Marines, must carry out any order given to us by an officer without hesitation or challenging the order, so that the mission is carried out in a successful and efficient manner. If we were to let the simple courtesies of saluting fall by the way side, there wouldn’t be as significant of a difference between enlisted and officer. As Marines, we pride ourselves on our traditions and keeping to them, while the other branches have forgotten what it means to have respect and honor. As Marines, it is our job to honor our officers, our leaders because of the job they are tasked with. In the future, we need to keep to our courtesies at all times and adhere to our rules and regulations so that simple mistakes are not
