The term "healthy" is widely used in the milieu of many types of non-living organisations and their impacts for the benefit of humans, such as in the sense of healthy communities or healthy environments. In addition to health care interventions an individual’s background, lifestyle, or social conditions are other factors known to have an influence on the health of individuals; these are referred to as "determinants of health." (White, 2002). Studies have shown that high levels of stress can affect human physical and mental health. (BBC, 2013). Farlex (2017) suggests that there are two inimical theories in regards to health; one is the absence of disease. This theory could be viewed as a negative concept as it implies that a person needs to be diagnosed with a disease in order to be unhealthy. The other is being not only an absence of disease but also a state of physical, mental, spiritual and social well-being. This is a more positive definition and it could be suggested that you do not have to be diagnosed with a disease to be ill; you can also be mentally ill, physically ill, or emotionally ill. This is the primary reason the health sectors take a holistic assessment in order to address the needs of the whole person rather than focusing on a single issues. According to Humber et al (2011) Health is the level of functional and metabolic efficiency of a living organism. Humans have the ability to adapt and self-manage when facing physical, mental or psychological changes. (Conrad,
