After I really learned how to read, I was even more hooked.
My mom scolded me, “Mag, that’s rude”, but I didn’t understand what I had done to upset her. I was being quiet, minding my own “beeswax” as she often told me to do.

The book was no Harry Potter and was practically irrelevant to everyone besides myself. The librarians were confused what book I was actually looking for and if I was sure I had the right name of the series. I was sure and I wasn’t going anywhere until I found that book.
