The Pentateuch is the first five books of the Old Testament. It shows the readers God's plans and purpose and explained how sin entered this world. Each book has author, theme and persuasive purposes. Synoptic were three books, h, Mark and John. Each one tells the story of Jesus, including his ministry and etc. Matthew and Luke is his resurrection, John is the gospel- the gospel from the book of John focuses on the mystery and identity of Jesus. Luke and Acts are the same things, but Acts picks up after Luke, Acts is the order of the church of first Church. The Epistles are letter written from the leaders of the church, the first fourteen are called the "Epistle of Paul." The seven letter are called the Catholic Epistle, they talking about the as one instead of parts. The final book of the New Testament is called Revelations. It describes the end oftimes, John wrote Revelations while he was in prison. Its purpose is to give encouragement and hope for all Christians to continue watching for the return and triumph of the Lord Jesus Christ.
