It can be seen as selfish if people do not get the flu shot as it increases the chances of the people surrounding them to get sick as they are exposed to someone whom is more likely to catch the flu virus. There is no scientific evidence proving against getting the flu shot. The vaccine does not completely rule out the chances of someone obtaining the flu, however it does drastically decrease the chances of them getting ill, and if they did contract the flu, their case would be no where near as bad as what it would be if they had not receive the …show more content…
