Propaganda can be found published in pictures, posters, pamphlets, and articles form. The Committee on Public Information propaganda mission was not to create conflict between the debated if America were to remain neutral or full support to enter war. Committee on Public Information released multiple advertisements to reason America 's involvement in war, recruit men into the U.S Army and Navy, and ensure America will win. For an example, the Spies and Lies Advertisement Urging Americans to Report the Enemy stated ‘German agents are everywhere, eager to gather scraps of news about our men, our ships, and munitions. It is still possible to get such information through to Germany where thousands of these fragments-often individually harmless-are patiently pieced together into a whole which spells death American soldiers and danger to America homes.’(Wheeler, 142) It is evident that propagandas produced by the Committee on Public Information tried to acquire Americans to get enlisted, stop antiwar activity, get Americans to support war effort, and war bonds. It was a war mobilization that strengthens America war effort by the support of public (Faragher, P.572). In other words, after World War 1 ended United States of America became a major global force after strongly conquering Germany until Germany surrender. Moreover, in the global economy United States of America held powerful posture in commercial and industrial engine. Although, World War 1 ended devastatingly and propaganda had its effects on America, it brought a turning point to America. The ending of World War 1 escalated women to hold a history in America.
