“The role of HR Department in supporting the strategy and management of the organisation”
1. Introduction
This report provides information on HR function and its supportive role for the organisation. It focuses particular on the HR activities delivered to employees and managers. This report is based on observations, interviews and open discussion with employees and management. The report explain the importance of retention and development of Milestones Trust’s HR Department.
2. The mission of HR Department

These activities are monitored by Well-being Coordinator, who sits with HR Team. Well-being of our employees is ensured by occupational health referral, sickness and absence monitoring. HR Practitioner meets and trains line-manager in subject of health awareness.
5. Findings and conclusion
The facts mention above suggest that our HR Department cooperate well with senior and line management in applying and developing business strategy of the organisation. The processes, projects and activities delivered by HR Practitioners are in place and give our organisation the profit of satisfied, qualified and well trained employees with a healthy attitude. This work cannot be taken over by external resources or passed over to the managers. The role of HR team is vital in building strategic solutions and facing business challenges.
6. Recommendations.
Above analysis explain how important for further expansion of the organisation is to retain HR Department. It is recommended, not only to retain HR Team but at the same time it crucial to invest in development of HR Practitioners of the organisation. HR Team should focus on building human resources skills and competencies to face future
