The Book (use the title of the book: Killing Lincoln…)starts out as Lincoln is being sworn into the presidency of the United States. The weakness of the Killing Lincoln book is that they did not talk enough about Lincoln’s presidency. They did not go into detail how citizens treated him as a president other than the anti-federalist. The authors did not explain as much on the good things Lincoln did during the Confederate War. Although the book had some weaknesses there were strengths in the book. The strengths was it was well written and organized from the beginning of Lincoln’s life all the way up to his assassination. The book has enough tables and interesting illustrations. The assassination of Lincoln was a tragic day for all Americans and the authors interpreted the book in a very exciting way to find out what happened next after the Confederate War and his death. The authors counted down the days till Lincoln 's death during his presidency after he accomplished the war or after he got through a rough time. Killing Lincoln should be a well recommended book. The book would be recommended to high school or college students to read. It strikes interest of the Lincoln assassination and is very well written also
