They wanted to find out if all the rumors they heard were true. They wanted to see him, talk to him, and to help him, even though they were scared out of their little minds. Everyone said awful things about Boo and the kids felt sorry for him. The reason Boo couldn’t come outside was that everyone said bad things about him. They wanted Boo to have the chance to go outside and play and actually enjoy himself. They had the mental courage to keep trying to help him, even when everyone else thought they were crazy and quite frankly dumb. They knew they were doing the right thing and so they kept on doing what they thought would be right. Now that’s mental courage. I encourage you to have the mental courage instead of
