Us humans are very cruel to animals. We use animals to test all these vaccines and keep them caged. Some animals are used just for our entertainment. We breed animals and use them to feed our vast population. The authors want these animals to be freed the way we are. We must respect these creatures because we are just like them. They would also tell her that animals weren’t supposed to have names, and Goodall found this outrageous. The Eighth Trust is basically asking you to follow these trusts. “Have the Courage of Our Convictions” means to follow your beliefs. The authors want you to obey these trusts, so that the world will be a better place. All these trusts are linked together. Only by following these trusts can animals and humans live simultaneously without causing each other harm. People must change their perspective on this world, and the animals in it.
