The unknown narrator in “The Tell-Tale Heart” was justifying the killing of the old man. At the beginning of the story. He states “I loved the old man. He had never wronged me. He had never given me insult. For his gold I had no desire. I think it was the eye! Yes, it was this! He had the eye of a vulture” (Edgar Allan, 1). Reading these stories, on could ask then how much do you have to be careful in what or what you in society because it look as if these main characters, no matter what they did, they were not able to get away from getting killed. People are killing one another like animal. Even animals now todays are civilize more than the human beings. Animals kill for food, whereas, human kill just for pleasure and that’s sad.
