The next takeaway is the culture of the company. Many different nationalities, backgrounds, and views are coming together to work as one. Nike embraces this and uses it to an advantage. Complacency can cause employees to be too comfortable with where they are decrease their drive to become better personally. Without the drive to be better each and every day, life can be boring. I have been in an environment where the desire to be better was not enforced and work was miserable. There is no feeling of importance or value. When employees find that job where the feel respected and valued, their performance will significantly increase and the work environment seems much more positive.
