Kennedy was assassinated. JFK was in Dallas, Texas campaigning for his next presidential election. He had not yet said he was going to run but he was pretty sure he would be re-elected if he was to run. That day President Kennedy was in Fort Worth speaking out side of the hotel then he headed to Dallas for a 13 minute flight. When the Kennedy’s got off the plane they took several minutes to shake hands with and talk to some of their supporters. John Connally the governor and his wife Nellie were seated in the car awaiting the Kennedy’s arrival. As the Kennedy’s sat behind the Connally’s with out the bubble on because the rain was no longer coming down. The Vice President and Mrs. Johnson took another car in the motorcade. The Assassination took place around 12:30 p.m. why the car was turning off of Main Street at Dealey Plaza this was when shots were fired. JFK was hit in his head and neck. The car was rushed off to the closet hospital which wasn 't far but there wasn 't much they could do about Kennedy’s condition. While they tried by 1:00 p.m. they announced that Kennedy was dead. Mrs. Kennedy was not going to leave the hospital let alone Dallas though with out her husband. JFK’s body was brought and put on to Air Force One to be taken to Washington D.C. The points of origin came nearly a century before the Hostage Crisis. The United States and the Iranians had tension due to the oil and how British and American corporations had control over “their oil”. With this occurring by the time the Crisis occurred they had banned Shah and his government from Iran forcing him to flee to Egypt. On November 4 1979 a group of students from Iran took more than 60 American people hostage. This was because Jimmy Carter our president at the time let Shah come get treatment for his cancer in the United States. The Hostage Crisis was more than just a out break in the treat meant of Shah it was a way the revolutionaries were able to try and push forward with their plans. They wanted the United stated out of the affairs that Iran took apart of almost like they wanted the US completely gone. Iran 's Revolutionist leader was a man who was anti-American went by the name of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. When they took the hostages they took over 60 and by mid summer 1980 they had about 52 hostages in their custody. People where let out for different reasons weather they where women, African Americans, People who where citizens of a different country as well, and those who had health problems.
