This cannot be further from the truth since communism has been proven time and time again not to work. The best example of this is the Soviet Union. According to World History our Human Story, communist ideals spread across a war torn Russia. Vladimir Lenin, the leader of it all, turned the new communist government into a dictatorship (691). Later the book states “In Europe and America, some intellectuals saw the Soviet Union as the future of Mankind. The truth, however, was that the communist revolution had fallen into the hands of one the most brutal dictator in all of history.” (693). Multiple times in US history their have been movements of communism in socialist utopias. These utopias, however would end up failing due to disagreements on “work assignments... methods of government... money troubles... or various disagreements” (The American Odyssey: A History of the United States). Every single communist government turns into a dictatorship. This system cannot work in society. It will never work. For those who believe it will work. People we need to stop the horrific system. Communism is oppressive, demotivating, and proven to fail. Communism can be summed up in these few words from Animal Farm, “ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL BUT SOME ANIMALS ARE MORE EQUAL THAN
