The source explains the history of the Buddhist religion, and then dives into the different repercussions abortion may bring. This is important because according to this religion, there are consequences for having an abortion whether there were good intentions or bad intentions. Also, if an abortion occurs, there are ways in which mothers can improve the situation, such as performing good deeds.

My second source is called Buddhism and Abortion from BBC. This source has information on the main principles of the religion and how these principles show that abortion is not acceptable. For example, the First Precept of Buddhism is to not kill. An abortion violates this Precept. Also, the source provides specific ways in which abortions are reasonable, such as a baby with medical conditions or a baby that resulted from rape. This source is important because it also compares the views of traditional Buddhists and modern Buddhists, in which one will be able to see how ideas changed over time.

In order to perform well, I will need to find a few more resources that provide valuable insight on the Buddhist religion in relation to the ethical topic of abortion. I can probably do this by researching on the Marist library website.
(6) Your biggest concern(s) or questions(s) about this paper. What can you do to overcome this barrier?
My biggest concern about this paper is that I will not have enough information. For my two sources I found a lot of similarities, which is good for validity, but I am concerned that there will not be enough of information to make this assignment a concrete paper. To overcome this, I would like to find more resources from different time periods, to get an idea of how and if ideas changed over
