Introduction
It is true that the world has been evolving and will continue to evolve in all life perspectives. This is so because there are notable improvements in the way people carry out things showing that there are advancements as time goes on. The term renaissance is usually used to mean revival or rebirth of something. In this case, renaissance refers to the period between 14th century and 17th century when revival of art, literature, music, architecture and philosophy occurred. Renaissance is the time that occurred after the classical learning. On the other hand, baroque is the period after renaissance and started after 16th century. As a matter of fact, this period was characterized by increased improvement of the renaissance innovations. This means that what was discovered during the renaissance was improved in one way or the other during the baroque period.
Truly, music was there during the renaissance and it continued to improve as time passed. Notably, music was mostly vocal during the renaissance period. Moreover, music was purely religious during those times. Composers had an intention of uniting other people in the society because music used unification language. During renaissance, some printings were made in form of woodcuts and engravings especially in Germany. However, painting was taken more serious during the baroque period.
