He was involved in racial protest during his decade following World War 1. He believes a person has to act in order to bring about change. That’s one of the reasons why he disagrees with Booker T. Washington notion that the Black people should put all their focus on industrial education. He was against his ideology and methodology. DuBois tried to explain that Black people need to be part of social institutions and not create their own. Therefore, end up disagreeing with Booker T. Washington for ideas that race could work the best together apart. Which in terms a huge problem to DuBois because he believes that Booker T. The NAACP still exist and defending Black injustices. In cases that spark the Black Lives Matter movement such Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown killing, the NAACP fought to bring justice to their families. The Black Lives Matter activist tries to bring light to the fact that black lives matter just as much as any other lives, but still people fail to understand their reason, and motivate behind those reason.
