Health care operations need to be improve based on cost-effectiveness way. Nordic institutions are providing us information of the latest research results. We need a clear political objectives and the ability to reform goals (STM 2007.)
Eighth World Congress of the World Health Organization's on health promotion was in Helsinki June 2013. The main theme of the Congress was elected health in all policies. After Congress this development wanted to increase both in Finland and internationally.
Congress helped us to see how much work we have already in Finland. We can be proud of our health and well-being even though there is still plenty of work left. (STM 2007.)
The demands and qualifications in order to be a member of the staff
There are 8500 health care professionals from 150 nationalities in 147 countries in WHO organization. WHO employees are health specialists, medical doctors, scientists and epidemiologists. There are also employees with expertise in administration and finance, information systems, economics, health statistics and emergency preparedness and response.
