Air planes are very useful but in many different ways violate some ethical arguments and I will be applying the piece of technology to some of these arguments like “Violations of Established Orders”. I will also be applying this piece of technology to the 4 questions of that tetrad. The 4 questions of the tetrad are from Marshall McLuhans examination of ideas. Here is where ill be analyzing all of this information.
The first of the questions in the Tetrad would be “What does it extend?”. An extension takes place when a person or society creates or utilizes an object in a way that extends the range of the human body and mind in a new or different way. Using the …show more content…
Meaning if this piece of technology is over used what would be the outcome, personally or within society. The airplane again as the example can be to do all kinds of traveling when flying after sitting down for a long time at a high amplitude blood begins to pool up in your legs and feet. Now if you begin to fly too often, in some cases this can cause blood clots.
ESSAY 3
We have now finished applying the airplane to the 4 questions of the Tetrad and now are moving onto the three of the seven Ethical Arguments. The first ethical argument I am going to apply is “Violations of Established Order”. This argument is used when discussing unnatural order or playing god. I can apply this to air planes because god designed us in a specific way unlike birds who have wings and can fly, we don't have wings and should not be flying. The side effects of us in the air on the plane like nose bleeds and ear popping are proof that we were not made to be flying
