It can be done by anyone who has the materials for creating a solar panel. these materials consist of plywood, tools, glass and etc. Building the actual solar panels are not extremely hard to build. The document "Solar Power-Advantages and Disadvantages” written by David states, “It can be easily deployed by both home and business users and does not require a huge setup like in case of wind and geothermal power.” This is showing how easy it can be done and everyone can contribute in helping the environment. Easily applicable solar panels can be built everywhere and help save electricity in multiple boroughs not just the Bronx. A major advantage of Solar energy is that it is a renewable resource. A renewable resource is a resource which is replaced naturally and can be used again. As stated in document 2 "Solar Power-Advantages and Disadvantages” written by David ,“Solar energy is a completely renewable resource”. This is showing an advantage because the energy can be repeatedly used to produce more energy. This helps the Bronx because it cheap to continue using solar energy and is not putting a dent in the money …show more content…
The document “The energy story” states, “the solar cells and solar panels that are needed to harness solar energy tend to be very expensive”. This is showing that the cost of producing solar energy in the night could not cost efficient. Although this may be true solar energy saves electricity so the money being used for the electricity bill could now be used to pay for the solar panels at different weather conditions. The article “Solarcity” states, “When you begin to generate your own solar power, your electricity bill can drop significantly.”This helps fix the money situation because if you are creating the electricity you will not need to pay an electricity bill which is means you no longer have to pay money on the electricity bill. Using the money you were going to use on electricity spend it on the batteries to save solar energy for the night. Another drawback to solar energy would be that it can only be used during sunny weather. As stated by David in "Solar Power-Advantages and Disadvantages”, “only work when the sun is shining”. This problem can also be easily fixed. Solar energy is a “renewable source” as stated by author Rinkesh in “Solar”. When the weather is not sunny you can use the already used energy from sunny days. In the long run it will be equally accessible for every type of weather
