When I stepped out into the sunlight I only had two things on my mind: Paul Newman and a ride home. The book The Outsiders has both reasons to read the book and reasons not to. The reasons to read the book far outweigh the reasons not to though. The themes of the book are an excellent example of reasons to read the book. Some of those themes are about; how people seem, good things not lasting forever, and about how real friends will always be there.
People always judge people on what others think about them but what they think isn't always true. In the outsiders a Soc named Cherry becomes a spy for the greasers. Dally, whom didn'tt ever show emotions, robbed a store and got shot because of Johnny's
