Phase 1- first day
Time was nearing. Soon, it would be time to set foot upon a new world, where both familiar and unfamiliar faces may be met. As per customary, Heet was beginning to grow nervous, and was finding it extremely hard to contain everything. All of his friends, including ones who had already been through, had told him about the last year. “ Believe us”,they had said, “ the last year is ALL that matters”. However nervous Heet may have been, he would soon find himself on long adventures which would be remembered forever.
Finding himself and his expectations surprised and uplifted, the table labelled with his name. Apart from a few of his friends which he knew from tuition, there was really no one he could talk to, although there did seem to some friendly students who offered me help on anything. Starting on a long, boring assignment which had been set already, Heet decided to start of the year with his full concentration and hard work, remembering that he hoped to not repeat his grades last term….

Even Eric, for whom time just didn’t seem to exist. Every pair of nervous and dreaded eyes’ vision are situated around a booklet labeled NAPLAN, which stood right on their desk. Heet, who had never sat in such a nervous exam, prayed all the prayers which he had been taught to the god, telling the almighty that “ one band 10 is all I want”.However, he knew that a band 10 was more than what he could ask for, and more than what he would achieve.Every second of the test seemed to pass with a quicker pace than before, and before he knew, Heet found himself in very few time left till the end of his first test,
