Today was the fifth day of class, and for the majority of the class, Dr. Bennett-Alexander discussed affirmative action, a set of laws, policies, guidelines, and administrative practices “intended to end and correct the effects of a specific form of discrimination.” It is remarkable to hear Dr. Bennett-Alexander name certain events from 1619 to 1980 from the back of her head, I certainly cannot accomplish that.
