Special needs people require special classes and attention to learn and help their brain develop. (Jain 3). Research has shown that students are able to learn better when put in classes with students with similar learning types or disablities. Putting a special needs student in an Honors level class will not help the special needs student grow or learn at all. Yhis student would also feel singled out and inferior to his or her classmates. Therefore, students, especially special needs are in their level of education needed. This is simply one of the reasons Special education is important (Jain 4). Another important thing of Special education, students should go to school, what they learn should be effective to their life, and developing process, this is why specific education is needed. Jain states, “Every child in this world is unique... He has the same right to acceptance and understanding as other children. The first act to take place was the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, this act made sure that there was federal aid there for the public schools that weresoon to educate the special needs. Soon the The Education for All Handicapped Children Act and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act were developed. The Education for All Handicapped Children was established to make it a right for all children, with a disabilitity or not, to be educated. The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act had required every school to provide individualized or special education for disabled children. No Child Left Behind Act was made to add better technology, provide accountability to schools and start programs that helped with needed special education resources.
