Texting and driving is one of the biggest issues in the United States. Texting and driving is very dangerous and can take your life away. People are distracted while they are driving by using their cell phones to text, call and even check their e-mails. Many teenagers’ car crashes were from distracted driving with the use of their smartphones when they are texting while driving. When you are distracted while you are driving it takes your eyes off the road and you are not focus on what’s going on in front of you. Texting and driving is very dangerous for all drivers when they decided to text and drive and put themselves at risk. The risk are increased when a driver is young and inexperienced. There are forty-six states that banned people from texting and driving, but only five states really enforce the law. There is also four that does not have a banning policy on texting and driving. The states that does not have a banning policy on texting and driving while operating a vehicle, is South Carolina, Arizona and Montana. Every state has its own issue on how they see on texting and driving while operating a vehicle, but there is laws with every state that evolves around mostly the teenagers that are heavily impacted because of their young age and the high rate of accidents by teenagers.
