This was due to the fact that the company was not taking into consideration of the environment when producing their products. This was a detrimental factor for the company and it’s because many people throughout the world would choose not to purchase the product based on the damaging effects of the environment. In order for the company to rectify the situation, they had to reassure the public that they are taking the necessary actions in order to mitigate the carbon footprint within the environment. To reassure the public about this initiative, the company would need to hire environmentalists to conduct research as to the damaging effect of the environment for producing the products. The company would then notify the public with quarterly meetings identify the environmental issues associated by producing the products. This issue is the ethical and legal issues that is associated with and work environment. This can affect team cohesion as well as abiding a safe place to work. This can be alleviated by establishing an equal opportunity representative in order to conduct internal affairs investigation to civil rights that are being violated within the work environment. This type of course of action is a reactive action because this is based on after-the-fact a person rights were violated. A proactive response would be to implement quarterly training identify examples of ethical and civil rights violations.
