Visual and kinesthetic learning is an important aspect of science and the use of the iPad and its thousands of applications provides aid in the understanding of such concepts. Emphasis will be placed on the use of the iPad as it has more applications that lend itself to science, productivity, creation applications, as well as assessments. In addition the iPad works with other technologies such as cloud storage that is constantly increasing in its storage capacity. The iPad meets the common core standards as it supports collaborative learning and the development of a digital portfolio through the use of technology and media (California Common Core Standards, 2013) . In addition, the iPad enables teenagers to gather a myriad of information quickly, for personal or educational purposes.
