When we repent of our sins and start living for God He protects us. Condemnation is the expression of very strong disapproval and in the book of Romans it tells us there is no condemnation for those who live in Christ and repent of their sins. If we admit our guilt He is just to forgive. He also tells us that we will harvest what we have planted. (Hosea 5:15) (1 John 1:9) (Romans 8:1) (John 14:5) (Psalm 97:10) (Psalm 5:4) (Isaiah 59:2) (Galatians 6:7) (Numbers 32:23) Can God sin? I believe God can not sin. He is perfect and it is not in His nature to sin. In hebrews it tells us that it is impossible for God to tell a lie. We can trust in Him and know he is always looking out for us and has our best interest in mind. God never tempts us to do wrong because he can not do so. Temptation comes from the devil not God. (Hebrews 6:18) (Titus 1:2) (James 1:13) Did God create sin? It says in Habakkuk that he can not stand the sight of evil. Sin is everything opposite of God. He did not make us because he needs us but because He wanted to. (Isaiah 43:7) (Genesis 1:26) (Ephesians 3:9-10) (Revelation 4:11) Why did God give us a free will? When God created us He wanted us to be able to choose to follow Him. In our heart we try to make our own idea of what we want and how we are going to get it but God says no I will get you this and i will do it this way. We choose when we wake up if we are going to serve God. Serving the Lord will always be the better option for you. It says in Joshua seven that if we do the will of God and not our own it says we will know whether or not the things we think are being spoken to us our instruction from God or if it’s what is in our own heart. The difference is that the Lord speaks with authority and confidence when our own plans are maybe this or maybe this way will work better. (Proverbs 16:9) (Joshua 24:15) (John 7:17) Can God control our thoughts? I believe with our free will comes the opportunity to make our own decisions for ourselves. While God and the Holy spirit can influence us we ultimately have the final decision. The word gives us clear instruction on how to make decisions and fix our thoughts on things that are honoring to God and in the end
