Christianity is one of the biggest religions across the world. But there is an essential question we must ask. How did Christianity spread across the Middle East so much? There are lots of facts to explain this. Some ways Christianity spread across the Middle East are it gave hope to the poor, promised eternal life and Romes adoption of it.
Christianity gave tons of hope to the poor and hopeless. One way it did this is by giving people a chance to be part of a community of caring people. Now many religions promised eternal life but it was hard to gain a good eternal life for example being judged. Also the eternal lifes were dull and nonpleasent unlike Christianity's heaven. It was easy to get into and this gained Christianity many followers. It promised no suffering or harm. This was something everyone wanted.
One of the largest impacts on the spread of Christianity was Romes adoption of Christianity. Rome was one of the largest empires in the ancient world. The empire was spreading and no other civilization was superior. After the mistreating and persuasions of Christians in Rome, many people died for Christianity rather than converting. This inspired many to join Christianity Including Roman emporium Constantine who ruled from 306-337 AD. He made Christianity the official religion of Rome.
