Hindus declare anything physical is simply an illusion, so evil in the world too is not apart of reality. Zacharias and Johnson explain the motivation of evil according to Hinduism, they say, “Hinduism explains that this perception of evil is the result of ignorance, but that only pushes the question one step further. If all is One, and evil is an illusion born out of ignorance, the who is the source of the ignorance but the One?” (97).
