“The time has come,” Jesus said. “The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!”

You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for You created all things…

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

For by Him (Jesus) all things were created. things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible … all things were created by Him and for Him.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.

Therefore God lifted Him up to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

All (people) have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…

He (Jesus) will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of His power.

He (Jesus) committed no sin, and no lie was found in his mouth.

He himself (Jesus) bore our sins in his body on the tree … by his wounds you have been healed.

But you know that He (Jesus) appeared so that He might take away our sins. And in Him is no sin.

Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried, He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, He appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, He appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time…

But God demonstrates His own love for us in this. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

In His great mercy He (God) has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead…

The thief (the devil) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come (Jesus) that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Now this is eternal life. that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent.

Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the Name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.

If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive Him. Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God…

And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.

For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Here I am! I (Jesus) stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me.

I (Jesus) tell you the truth, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.

Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.

The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast.

God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

Whoever acknowledges Me before men, I will also acknowledge him before My Father in heaven. But whoever disowns Me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulphur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Then I saw a new heaven and new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away…

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”
