Iliofemoral ligament - (Y shaped) attaches to ilium and AIIS. Splits an attaches high and low on the intertrochanteric line.
Pubofemoral ligament - Attaches to pubis near obturator canal and to femur at lower part of neck. Ischiofemoral ligament - Attaches to ischium behind and below the acetabulum. Spirals up and attaches to greater trochanter. Some fibers become circular to form zona obicularis. |
