Nephroptosis	Floating kidney. inferior displacement of kidney not held in by surrounding organs or fat. this people. ureter may kink up. can back up urine. damaging tissue very common. 1/4 people

Glomerulonephritis	inflammation of the kidney that involves glomeruli caused by allergic reaction to streptococcal bacteria. glomeruli become inflamed, swollen, engorged with blood so urine contains erythrocytes and protein. - may lead to renal failure
diuretics	substances allow renal absorption of water and cause diuresis, an elevated urine flow- reduces blood volume, sometimes treat hypertension. example: coffee, tea
Renal failure	decreased cessation of glomuruler filtration -- acute -- stop working entirely --chronic-- progressive and irreversible GFR from chronic glomerulonephritis --end stage renal failure-- 90% of nephrons have been lost. GFR diminishes to 10-15%.... need kidney transplant
